Christmas in Mobile Tour – 2 Nights 3 Days

Day 1

Arrive at your hotel, enjoy a nice glass of Apple Cider, and then get settled in for a great evening at Bellingrath Gardens and Home for Magic Christmas in Lights.   On arrival we will have dinner in the Magnolia Restaurant, located at the Gardens.  This area was the home of Coke Cola Magnet Walter D. Bellingrath.  The 75 acre Gardens are decorated with millions of Christmas Lights.   There is seasonal music, nativity and millions of light displays and much more.  The home will also be decorated to bring the magic of Christmas to the home. Of course there will be shopping in the gift shop. Then we will return to the comfort of your hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast will be served in the hotel dining area.  Today you will tour the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, one of the most exclusive resort areas of the country.  First stop is Malbis Plantation were we will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of Malbis.  There are over 100 hand painted murals and icons in the church.  We will visit Storybook Castle, a very unusual and unique home built in the 1940’s with left over building materials from construction sites during World War II. Lunch will be at the Lake Forrest Yacht Club, located in Mobile Bay. After lunch we will depart for Mobile and tour our historic districts.  We will stop at one of our museum home decorated for Christmas, then a Tour and Tea will be served. Return to the comfort of your hotel.   Dinner TBA.

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel dining area.  Bags out and depart for home.
