In 1702, the City of Mobile was founded by the French Canadian explorer Jean Baptiste La Moyne Sieur de Bienville. From a rugged French outpost, Mobile has evolved into one of the most beautiful and unique cities in the United States. The following suggested itinerary offers a wonderful overview of Mobile, the Bay Area, and our terrific attractions.

Military Reunions – Sample Itinerary

We take pride in hosting Military reunions and appreciate the opportunity to serve those who have served our nation. We invite you to hold your next reunion in Mobile, Alabama.

Day 1. Welcome & Registration

10:00 am until

Registration and Hospitality Room Open. Evening welcome reception. There will be optional tours available for early arrivals.

Day 2. Naval Aviation Museum

9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Board your motorcoach and depart for the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, which boasts of having the nation’s finest collection of historic Naval, Marine, and Coast Guard Aircraft and theme exhibits.

Tour the Museum and view a film in the IMAX theater. Luncheon will be at Mustin Beach Officers Club or Cubies, located in the museum. We will drive back to Mobile along our beautiful sugar white sand beaches. There are optional tours available for the evening.

Day 3. Reunion Business Meeting

Reunion Business Meeting. After the meeting board your motorcoach for a tour to the mighty USS Alabama. Usually the Navy Reunions will hold a memorial service on the fantail. Lunch will be served in the Ward Room. Shuttle back to the hotel after lunch. There are optional tours available.

Evening banquet picture taking and cocktail party. Dinner. We suggest that the theme be ..MARDI GRAS … MOBILE STYLE. We will decorate the tables with masks, beads, and serpentine. Our Queen and her Krewe will entertain your group! The highlight will be to crown your own King and Queen. We provide Crowns and Sceptres.

Day 4. Farewell & Departure

Farewell Breakfast. Check out and depart for home with wonderful memories of being with friends, again, for the past few days.

MARDI GRAS BALL
Celebrate where Mardi Gras started. We will decorate your tables with masks and beads. The highlight of the evening will be to crown your own King and Queen to rule over the festivities. We can provide a band or DJ for your dancing pleasure.

Doug sings songs from the 40’s & 50’s. This patriotic Musical will bring back memories. All reunions rave about Doug’s show

Ghosts, Spirits, and Strange Happenings
As you ride through our dark ghostly historic districts your guide will tell you stories of famous Mobilians and spirits that roam or streets after dark and hear strange and unusual tales of the past.
