Check into your hotel and get settled.
We will have an exciting evening at Mobile Mystery Dinners. You will enjoy a hilarious murder mystery play with unlimited wine bar and dinner. As you sort through clues from persuasive suspects, you may find that the culprit has been eating dinner right next to you. Return to the comfort of your hotel.
Breakfast is served in the hotel dining area. Board your motorcoach and depart for Bellingrath Gardens and Home. This Garden Spot of the South is a floral wonderland. Flowers change seasonally: cascading chrysanthemums in the fall, banks of poinsettias at Christmas time, camellias in the winter and over 250,000 azaleas in the spring. Located on the grounds is the home of Coca Cola magnate. Walter D. Bellingrath. The home is furnished with antique furniture and an outstanding collection of china and porcelains. Lunch will be served in the Magnolia Restaurant located at the gardens. On the way back to Mobile we will stop at Christmas Town, the second largest store of this kind in the country. There is something for everybody. We will return to the comfort of your hotel. Dinner at one of our local restaurants.
Put on your walking shoes and head for the USS Alabama Memorial Park, on arrival you will begin the tour in the Aircraft Pavilion where they have airplanes from every war. Also a time line of the history of WWII, Then you will tour the USS Drum, a submarine, that is credited with sinking the 7th largest amount of enemy tonnage in WWII. Lunch will be served in the Ward Room of the USS Alabama. After lunch you will have time to tour the ship and learn how our sailors lived during their time on the ship. After the tour we will Tour Historic Mobile. As you ride through the historic districts your guide will tell you the history of our City. We will stop at one of our ante bellum Museum homes for an interesting tour. We will return to the hotel.
Tonight we will have a Mardi Gras Party. Just like we do in Mobile during Mardi Gras. We will decorate the tables with Masks and Beads and even have one of our Mardi Gras Royalty come and meet your group. And then we will crown your King and Queen to rule over the rest of the evening. Dinner is included.
